AROUND THE WEB

  • YouTube is rolling out dynamic sponsorship slots for long-form videos, which lets creators swap out brand integrations after upload. This update could turn back catalogs into living ad inventory and push creator partnerships closer to programmatic media buys. [Liam Parkinson]

  • Reddit wants a bigger slice of the AI pie. It’s in talks with Google to weave Reddit threads more deeply into AI Overviews and products. If struck, the deal could boost Reddit’s influence in AI answers while changing how brands and SEOs show up in search.[Search Engine Land]

  • X is testing a new “Boost” button that lets Premium users pay to expand the reach of their posts in-stream. Pricing ranges from $50 for ~11k impressions to $1,000 for up to ~543k impressions. [Social Media Today]

  • If you’ve noticed a spike in bounces from @yahoo.com, @ymail.com, or @rocketmail.com addresses, there's a reason: Yahoo just cut inbox storage by 98%, leaving many users unable to receive new emails. These will most likely result in soft bounces. [EmailOS]
